CSM (Ret) LeRoy Norman Mello, 85, of St. Robert, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at his home.
He is survived by two children, Eddie Mello of Waynesville and Stefan Mello (Carol) of Avondale, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Veena Mello of Memphis, Tenn.; seven children, Maurice Robinson of Bowling Green, Mo.; Monika Mello of Memphis, Tenn.; Cally Mello of Memphis, Tenn.; Marquis Mello of Wichita, Kan.; Amy Martin (Colby) of Meta, Mo.; Elysia Mello of Avondale, Ariz., and Kiarra Mello of Normal, Ill.; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Antone Mello (Mary) of Detroit, Mich., and Peter Mello of New Bedford, Mas.; two sisters, Stelle Sequeira of Milford, Ct., and Frances Mello of Marion, Mass.; caregiver, Ora Williams of Waynesville; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of CSM (Ret) LeRoy Mello and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
