COVID-19 cases increase by 20 percent in a week

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Laclede County has jumped by nearly 21 percent in just one week, according to figures released by the Laclede County Department. The Department said Thursday it had been notified of 30 additional positive laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laclede County. Thursday marked the highest single day increase in confirmed cases since the first case was reported on May 8. The county’s total as of Thursday night was 367 cases to date, with 68 currently being monitored, 297 considered recovered and two deaths. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
