With the announcement of five more COVID-19 related deaths, the pandemic’s death toll in Laclede County has risen above 60.
The Laclede County Health Department reported Thursday that five more people had died with COVID-19. Three of the five were reported to have other underlying health issues.
“While our recent case numbers have seen a decrease over the past few weeks, county residents should continue to understand the seriousness of this illness, and the outcomes that can occur,” the Health Department wrote in a media release.
