On July 6 the Laclede County Commissioners met and approved the creation of the CERT fund discussed in previous meetings with a balance, thanks to LAF, of $1,746.98.
“I will certainly second that,” Eastern Commissioner David Layman said after Western Commissioner Darrell Pollock made the motion.
Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst said he had received a notice from the City of Lebanon regarding a public hearing on Tuesday, July 18 to consider requests for conditional use of three short-term rental units at 321 Adams.
He also received a notice from the Chamber of Commerce that they are terminating their lease agreement with the city. The lease for the space was $10 per year for 1,800 square feet.
“We’ll have that space available shortly,” Angst said.
