The Laclede County Commission met Aug. 22 and set the tax levies for 2023.
The levy for the Laclede Early Education Program or LEEP was set at 0.0650 for each $100 of assessed valuation. At the beginning of the meeting, LEEP Director Jana Riley sat down with the commission as they examined LEEP’s budget.
Preschool children with developmental delays in Laclede County and surrounding counties if Lebanon is the closest available program are served by LEEP.
The general revenue levy was set at 0, and the Common Road District’s levy was set at 0.2417, the same rate as the 2022 levy.
