County commission opens bids, hears storm siren update
The commission discusses bids on various items during Tuesday’s meeting. As the end of the year approaches, so too does the deadline to finalize bids and the year’s projects.

The Laclede County Commission prepared for end of the year during Tuesday’s meeting, covering project bids and departmental updates among their business items.
The commission approved Graven Chrysler’s bid for two sheriff patrol vehicles and Viebrock’s bid aluminum box culvert on Kentucky Road. The group approved the Graven Chrysler’s bid for the vehicles.
During his departmental report, Office of Emergency Management Director Randy Rowe reported that after speaking to State Emergency Management Director James Remillard, FEMA should be sending out the compliance letter for the Bennett Spring storm sirens project soon.
