Dr. Ashley Brown updated the commissioners on the 2023 Agriculture Tour to be held in October and the number of sponsors currently committed when the Laclede County Commissioners met in the Government Center on Aug. 1.
She also said she was considering a training session for the owners of the farms on the tour on Oct. 2.
“All the families are very, very excited. There’s so much more to this than just the locations. Talking to these folks and getting to know them is really eye-opening,” Brown said.
She presented the commissioners with a work in progress, an online virtual tour of the Ag Tour for public use after the Ag Tour is completed.
