The Laclede County Commission has accepted a bid for a storm siren to be installed in Bennett Spring State Park.
The county is receiving a $25,000 State Emergency Management Agency grant to cover the cost of the storm siren. Installation is expected next month.
The Laclede County Commission on Tuesday approved a bid of $23,500 from Storm Sirens, Inc. of Norman, Okla. for the purchase and installation of the siren.
