The Lebanon City Council heard about plans for new skatepark at Thursday night’s work session meeting.
Park Director John Shelton said the skate facility was originally at the old Nelson Park. When the new Nelson park was built, the Park Board decided the Gasconade Park would be a better location for the skatepark.
At first, the plan was to use the old skate equipment, but after hearing citizen concerns, Shelton said the board began looking at other options.
