Council approves project to connect parks

Posted
The Lebanon City Council Monday night approved a project to connect Harke Park and Nelson Park. City Administrator Mike Schumacher said this would connect the west side of the existing walking trail in Harke Park to the existing sidewalk along Fremont, which in turn connects with Nelson Park. He said connecting the two existing park trails, the middle school and Coleman Conservation area “provides a cost effective and substantial expansion of available walking trail distance in one connected network. The Council’s action will add 775 feet of trail. For more on this story, see the LCR.
