Connie Sue Weaver was born in 1947 on February 18th, in Lebanon, Missouri, to the marriage of Lloyd and Chloe (Bradford) Weaver. Connie took her first breath in heaven on April 2nd at 79 years of age.
At a young age, Connie gave her life to Jesus and continued her walk with Him faithfully all her days. Connie’s unwavering devotion to her Savior was evident in her beautiful smile, her daily life, her love for others, and her commitment to church and community service.
Connie met Earl Vaughn Jackson at Oak Cliff Assembly of God Church, in Dallas, Texas, and he quickly became the love of her life. They married in 1970 on December 23rd, and they shared fifty-five years of love, companionship, devotion, and a faithful service alongside each other for their savior, Jesus.
From the 1970s to 1992 Connie was a skilled and devoted employee of Dallas Power & Light Company and Texas Utilities Services, Incorporated. Upon retiring, she took her skills to Oak Cliff Assembly of God Church, where she and Earl also faithfully attended. Connie served in the Woman’s Ministry where she touched many lives through her faithful prayers, continual encouragement, kindness and a genuine servant’s heart. She helped in several various ventures until finally retiring in late 1990’s.
In the early 2000’s, Earl and Connie became members of First Baptist Church Dallas, where she continued to volunteer and faithfully serve. Connie amassed numerous cherished friends during those years.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Chloe Weaver of Dallas, Texas.
Connie is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Earl Vaughn Jackson; sister, Cheryl Landers; brother-in-luv, Steve Landers; niece, Olivia Landers; nephew, Chandler Landers; and her nieces, Nicole Bates, and Loren White, and their precious families. Along with dear Weaver and Bradford Cousins.
In the early 2020’s, they were blessed to connect with nephew Paul L. Jackson, his wife Patricia and their sweet family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church of Dallas, Lovvorn Hall, on Thursday the 9th of April 2026. Visitation with the family: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Service: 11:00 a.m.
The family will gather privately at the graveside before the private internment service.

Connie will always be remembered for her gentle and kind spirit, her steadfast faith, her love for the family she cherished, and for her faithfulness to Jesus. While Connie will be deeply missed, her family is comforted by the unwavering assurance that she is now with Jesus, and heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.’’
