Longtime Lebanon businessman and community leader Michael L. “Mike’’ Davis died July 21. He was 67.
Davis was born Dec. 2, 1953, in Mount Ayr, Iowa, to Joe L. and Coral Haas Davis.
He graduated from Jefferson City Senior High School in 1971, and then attended University of Missouri—Rolla where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1975. It was there that he met the love of his life Joy (Osborn) Davis and they were married on June 1, 1974, at the First Baptist Church in Camdenton.
Davis was a registered professional engineer in Illinois and Missouri.
