In a short meeting Tuesday, July 11, at 8:30 a.m. in the Laclede County Government Center, Laclede County Commissioners discussedcounty finances and remonumenting.Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst commented on the sales tax report.
“It looks like for July of ’23 compared to July of ’22, we’re down slightly for that month-year to year comparison, which is the same in June, so we’ll keep an eye on sales tax collections as they continue to come in for the remainder of the year. Right now, it looks like we can still meet our budget projections.
