Clova Jean Judy, 74, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Danville, Ill. to Clifford S. and Esther M. Delaney Lappin.

On June 26, 1965, she married Gerald R. Judy, and to this union two sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter-in-law, Melissa A. Judy; two brothers, Alonzo R. and Herbert R. Lappin; and two sisters, Jackie Lappin-Chrostowski, and Debbie Hawkins.

Survivors include two sons, Eric Judy and his wife Susan of Lebanon, and Shane Judy and his fiance’, Katrina Chable' of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb, Josh, and his wife Devon, Sage, Sierra, and Kanyon Chable; two great-grandchildren, Gryffin and Marley; three brothers, Clifford Lappin and his wife Sandy of Hegeler, Ill.; Hubert Lappin and his wife Rose of Florida, and James Lappin and his wife Debbie of Danville, Ill.; seven sisters, Nancy Cornett and her husband Coy of Tilton, Ill.; Linda Claypool of Tilton, Ill.; Ruth Terranova and her husband Frank of North Carolina; Kathy Hart and her husband Darrell of Lebanon; Cindy Watkins of Tilton, Ill.; Susan Lowe and her husband Delbert of Collison, Ill.; and Karen Lappin of Tilton, Ill.; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial for Clova Jean Judy will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at the New Hope Cemetery near Long Lane with the Rev. Shane Shockley officiating, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
