Clinton Road near the community of Russ will be closed Monday for asphalt work.
The road is scheduled to close at 8 a.m. and expected to open back up that evening.
Laclede County Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst said some preliminary work has been done to get the road ready for the overlay. A portion had to be dug out and the base brought back up before it could be overlaid.
Angst said the projected was budgeted for earlier in the year and “we’re finally able to get that completed now.”
