Claude Wesley York, 91, of Crocker, was born June 13, 1932 in Hooker, Mo. and died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Trent and Helen Barnes-York of Crocker and Susie and Dana Hill of Eldon; one sister, Mary Carlson and her husband Jerry of Rockford, Ill.; son-in-law, Melvin Shrauger of Linn Creek; seven grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Crocker with Bro. Lee A. Todd officiating. Burial with full military honors were in the Concord Cemetery near Crocker.
