The Lebanon High School Class of 2020 is making plans for a time capsule that will be buried in a city park and opened in 2100.
Students heading up the project are Emily Lester and James Hopkins.
“For a few years we’ve been wanting to do something special because we were the last class to graduate from the old junior high and 2020 looks like a good number,” Lester said.
Hopkins said they want the time capsule to be a gift from the class to the community.
They are hoping to raise $3,000 to cover the costs.
