City to provide Chamber funding

Posted
he Lebanon City Council will provide some extra support this year to the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce as it undergoes some rebranding. The city will become a “Pillar Partner” with the Chamber, providing support in the amount of $25,000 in action taken at Monday night’s meeting. The Council approved the funding with the understanding that “this should not be assumed to an annual ‘standard’ allocation.” City Administrator Mike Schumacher said in talks with the Chamber they made clear “this was a one-time deal. It doesn’t mean we won’t do it again, and it does not mean we will next year.” For more on this story, see the LCR.
