City officials bury 2021 time capsule

Future generations will get a first hand look at the current era of city budgets, newspapers and face masks, thanks to a time capsule buried Wednesday at Lebanon City Hall. Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr spoke at the ceremony, which took place on the day the state of the Missouri observed its bicentennial. He said they intended to preserve history for future generations in a capsule to be opened in 2121. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
