Jerry Harrison has been appointed the new Lebanon Chief of Police. This appointment follows the retirement of Chief Bryan Arnold last fall. The City Council confirmed Mayor Jared Carr’s nomination of Harrison at Monday evening's council meeting. Harrison said he expects to be officially in Lebanon by mid-April. He brings more than 26 years experience in law enforcement, including seven as the Chief of Police for the Independence Police Department in Kansas to his new role.
