Lebanon voters will decide whether to ban non-medical marijuana in the next general election.
The Lebanon City Council on Monday night voted 7-0 to hold an election on whether to ban non-medical marijuana dispensaries in the city if approved by 60 percent of the voters in the Nov. 5, 2024 election.
The action is in response to the legalization of non-medical marijuana in the State of Missouri, which was approved by voters in the November 2022 election. The Council vote means the question will appear on the November 2024 ballot.
