City breaks ground on fire station

Officials say the new facility will improve response times

Officials broke ground Tuesday for a new Lebanon Public Safety Center at 1300 Ivey Lane that they said will meet and exceed the city’s needs for years to come.
During Tuesday’s ceremony, Mayor Jared Carr said the new facility will help improve response times for the west side of the city.
“In recent years, the southwest side of Lebanon has experienced phenomenal growth,” he said.
