Christmas tree recycling set up at Public Works

Posted
The City of Lebanon has a place where area residents can take their old Christmas trees. Lebanon Public Works will recycle trees for residents of Laclede, Camden and Miller counties. The city says people can bring an undecorated tree, sign-in in and drop it off at the pit. Kelly Roberts, of the city’s Public Works Department, explained how people can bring their trees in for disposal. “It’s just in an effort to allow people a way to recycle their trees so they don’t end up in the landfill,” she said. “They can bring them out here to Public Works Monday through Friday between 8:30 and 4:30. They just have to sign in and let us know they’re dropping something off.” For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
