Christmas on Commercial coming to Downtown Lebanon Friday

Christmas on Commercial will bring the holiday to Downtown Lebanon 5 until 8 p.m. next Friday. Downtown Lebanon Executive Director Sarah Angst Stewart said she was excited for the return of the annual celebration. “We are so grateful to Lake Regional for sponsoring this event each year and for all of our donors who support downtown and events like these,” she said. “The community really comes together for this celebration of the season and the joy it brings is just indescribable. If you haven’t been to Christmas on Commercial, you have to see it for yourself. Downtown Lebanon transforms into a holiday wonderland and there is so much to see and do. We expect the parade to be quite the show stopper again this year, with a record breaking number of entries.”  Some of the notable activities planned include: Santa at Cackle Hatchery, a DJ in front of Mel’s , two stage areas running from 4:30 - 8 pm with performances by Lebanon’s own Mr. B, a singalong with downtown’s Jeff Boston, and performances by downtown’s DC Dance.  For more on this story, see Saturday's LCR.
