Chevelle Rose Anderson, 4, of Buffalo, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020.
She was born Dec. 27, 2016, in Monett, Mo.
Chevelle spent the last year of her short life battling DIPG and was a fighter until the end. Though her time with family was short she touched many lives and was deeply loved by those around her.
She is survived by her parents, Catina and Jennifer Anderson; her grandparents, Larry and Gayla Anderson of Buffalo and Jerry and Theresa Jones of Houston, Mo.; brothers, Mark Pounds, Ryan, Waylen and Jaxsen Anderson; sisters, Anna Johnson and husband James, Alexis Shoults and husband Ernie, and Brelee Anderson; many aunts, uncle, and cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Chevelle Rose Anderson will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Randy VanAusdall officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery under the care and direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation was held Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation.
