Mr. Charles Frederick Jackson, age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born April 13, 1946, to the late Caleb and Evelyn Jackson in Clarksville, TN. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and he retired from AT&T.
He excelled in sports, earning triple letters at Lebanon High School. He went on to play safety for the University of Missouri. He later signed up to become a US Marine and served a tour in Vietnam.
If something was broken or in need of repair, he would offer to help you repair it or on occasion, tear it up more.
He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed it so much, he would go out for catch and release in the off season.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie Brock Jackson and he is survived by his daughter, Glennis Jackson. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Lebanon, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory of Fairburn, Georgia.
