Lebanon High School students are receiving a lesson in diversity and inclusion in the form on a new mural now taking shape in the hall.

Lebanon High School Art Teacher Elizabeth Barker eceived a grant from the Missouri Arts Council to have St. Louis artist Cbabi Bayoc paint a mural with the assistance of students.

Bayoc is working on a wall-size painting at the high school “to empower kids and give them a sense of self,” art teacher Eric Adams said.

“Every student has a welcoming environment in Lebanon. When they walk by this mural they will see different faces and activities that represent a variety of people,” Adams said.
