CECIL IRVIN CONNETT

Cecil Irvin Connett, 77, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, in Rolla.

He was born April 19, 1943, in Lebanon, Mo. to Tommy Ervin and and Arliene Brown Connett.

On April 25, 1964, he married Carolyn Maxine Fletcher.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Darren Connett, and by an infant brother.

Cecil graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1961. He joined the National Guard and proudly served our country for the next 42 years. He was also a painting contractor in the Lebanon and surrounding areas for over 45 years. He was very dedicated to his profession and was well respected by those he worked with.

He was a member of Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Maxine; his son, Derek Connett of Lebanon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Wes Connett of the state of Colorado; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Cecil Irvin Connett will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Allen Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery with military honors by the National Guard, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday until service time at 2 p.m. at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. To sign the guestbook online visit shadelscolonialchapel.com.
