The Lebanon City Council approved an agreement for renovation of the Cowan Civic Center Monday at a meeting with some council members taking part with Zoom and the pubic invited to watch on Facebook. It was the second Council meeting to be streamed online with no live audience from the public because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Council members attending the meeting in person at City Hall were Ken Eldridge, Jonathan Reagan, Randy Wall, Bob Garner and LeAnn Mather. The other council members and city staff members participated in the meeting via Zoom. The Council passed an agreement with Cahills Construction for work on the Civic Center, including extension of the balcony lobby to create an indoor walking track, interior finishes, and exterior renovations of the first-floor southern canopy. The city received four bids for the Cowan Civic Center Renovation project. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
