Carol Jean (Tomlinson) Canter, 79 of Waynesville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the Life Care Center of Waynesville, Mo.
She is survived by four children: Deborah Porter (Stanley) of Waynesville, Mo., Constance Estep (Ronald) of Newport News, Va., Mark Fischer (Jennifer) of Florence, Ky., and Michelle Slone (Mike) of Rolla, Mo.; three sisters: Judith Flowers of Burlington, Ky., Ruth Wiseman of Mylan, Tenn., and Diane Mullikin (Mike) of Florence, Ky; one brother: Dale Tomlinson; eight grandchildren: Jonathan and Christopher Porter, Harper Estep, Brian, Danielle and Jacob Fischer, Larkin and Lawson Slone; five great-granddaughters: Kylin, Bella and Ellie Porter and Brylie and Reagan Fischer.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol Canter to a local animal shelter and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
