Candidate for governor Bill Eigel campaigns at Lebanon Tea Party meeting

Missouri Governor candidate and state Senator Bill Eigel made a stop in Lebanon Thursday evening. Eigel, a Republican who announced his candidacy in the 2024 governor’s race two weeks ago, spoke at a meeting of the Lebanon Tea Party held at the Lebanon-Laclede County Library. Two well known Republicans, Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe, have already announced their campaigns for governor, but Eigel said he believes he offers a real alternative. “The thing that I have that neither of those guys have is message,” he said.
