Brown resigns as boys' basketball coach

The Lebanon High School boys' basketball team will be in search of a new head coach in 2021-22. Head coach Bill Brown announced his resignation from his position on Feb. 12 after a confrontation with a spectator during an open scrimmage at Carr Gymnasium, according to people who were at the game. On Wednesday during a closed session portion of their meeting, the Lebanon R-3 School Board accepted Brown's letter of resignation as head basketball coach. Brown will remain an employee of the district. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
