Lebanon High School graduate Justin Britt has been released from the Seattle Seahawks after a six-year run with the NFL team.
The Seahawks announced the move on Monday with a post on Facebook, saying “Thank you for your time with us, Justin. We wish you all the best.”
Britt graduated from LHS in 2010. Along with playing for the LHS football team, Britt also was a wrestler. He became the state heavyweight champion his senior year. He went on to play football for the University of Missouri before getting drafted into the NFL.
Britt has made several trips back to Lebanon to give back to the community through free wrestling and football camps for area youth. He has also participated in multiple local charity events.
