Former Vice President Joe Biden came away the winner of the Democratic presidential primary in Laclede County Tuesday.
Biden easily bested Bernie Sanders, his only major remaining rival for the Democratic nomination, According to unofficial results from the Laclede County Clerk's Office, Biden received abour 64 percent of the vote or 890 votes. Sanders received about 3o percent with 412 votes.
Other candidates receiving votes includes Michael Bloomberg with 24, Elizabeth Warren with 18, Tulsi Gabbard with 13 and Pete Buttigieg with 8.
President Trump easily won the Republican primary where he faced little opposition. He received 98 percent of the vote or 2,847 votes in Laclede County. Other Republican candidates were Bob Ely with 7 votes, Bill Weld with 12 votes, Joe Walsh with 8 votes and Matthew John Matern with 4 votes.
