Beverly Jean O’Meara, 86, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Springfield.

She was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Albany, Wis. to Edgar Ellis and Ella Anna Augusta Bunge Sabin.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; her husband, M.L. Graham; one son, James Harold Graham; and two siblings, Erna Smith and Anna Wendlandt.

Beverly worked hard to provide for her family. She worked at Eagle Stop and as an assistant manger at Long John Silver’s for many years, until her retirement. She volunteered at L-Life, where she had accumulated over four hundred hours, which she was very proud of. In her free time, she enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football. She also enjoyed cross stitch, quilting and tending to her flower gardens. However, time spent with her family is what she treasured most.

Over the years she attended St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Mae “Patty” Burris and her husband Gene of Lebanon; Michael Len “Mike” Graham and his wife Laura of Nixa; Nancy Ann Caudle of Phillipsburg, and Elizabeth Jean “Liz” Cook and her husband Chris also of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Samantha Burris, Shelby Meckem and her husband Max, Dallas Graham, Jacob Caudle, Sheyenne Caudle and Dominik Drennon Cook; four great-grandchildren, Landree and Peyton Meckem, Blakeley and Briggs Graham; and baby boy Meckem on-the-way; other relatives and friends.

There is no service planned at this time for Beverly Jean O’Meara. At her request, her body is to be cremated. There will be a burial at a later date at Mount Rose Memorial Park. Memorials have been suggested to Shepherd’s Pack, Claws & Paws Animal Adoption Center or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N.
