Betty Rogers, 73, of Camdenton, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, in Lebanon.

She was born Thursday, Sept. 12, 1946, in Laclede County, Mo. to Otto and Lucille Green Hill.

On May 24, 1969, she married Roy Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Lucille Hill; her husband Leroy Rogers; two sons, Jimmy and William Rogers; three brothers, Lawrence, Danny, and Charles Hill, and one sister, Shirley Frederick.

Betty attended school in Stoutland and after high school she trained for nursing. She and her husband owned and operated Champion Muffler. She was also employed at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Edmonds, Okla.

She had professed her faith in Christ and became a member of Ira Baptist Church.

Survivors include one brother, Bob Hill (Kathryn) of Lebanon; three sisters-in-law, Becky Hill of Camdenton; Norma Snelling (Robert) and Willa Faye Hill of Stoutland; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Betty Rogers will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Randy Hill and Doug McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Springfield, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at noon until 1 p.m. service time at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
