BETTY RAE (CAFFEY) RANDOLPH

Betty Rae (Caffey) Randolph, 94, from Lebanon, but had been living in Columbia, Mo. at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Uless Reeder since 2020, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, in Centralia, Mo.

She was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Phillipsburg, Mo. to Joseph and Lucy Rector Caffey.

On Jan. 18, 1946, she was united in marriage to Robert Randolph, and they shared 49 years of wonderful memories prior to his passing.

She is preceded in death by by her parents; her husband Robert “Bob’’ Randolph, who died Nov. 14, 1995, 27 years to the day before her death; one daughter, Margaret Ellis; two brothers, Herbert and Freland Caffey, and by three sisters, Kathleen Hoke, Mary Alice Robinson and Lorene Gordon.

Betty graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1944. She was recruited to work at the Pentagon until World War II was over in 1946. She returned to Lebanon and was employed at Page Printing for several years and later as the court clerk for the City of Lebanon, retiring in 1990.

Betty was a member of Washington Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Uless Reeder of Columbia, Mo. and her son and daughter-in-law, Lowell “Lucky” and Mary Randolph of Justin, Texas;  four grandchildren, Messina Cox and her husband Tom, Joe Reeder and his wife Angela, James Randolph and his wife Mandy and Curtis Reeder; five great-grandchildren, Robert, Max, Abigail, RuthAnn, and KaliJo; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Betty Rae Randolph will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Chris Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, prior to her services at 11 a.m. at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
