Betty Louise Johnson, 81, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, in Osage Beach.
She was born Oct. 27, 1939, in Laclede County, Mo. to William Orville and Hazel Zelma Bagwell Ogle.
On Dec. 30, 1971, she married Herbert Lee Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herb Johnson on Oct. 26, 2014; four sisters, Wanda Berkich, Catherine Winkler, Mary Moore and Shirley Solaberry; and one great-grandson, Mason Ivey.
Betty was a devoted homemaker. She loved garage sales and crocheting.
She was a longtime, active and faithful member of Second Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Johnson and his wife Jeannie of Lebanon; Troy Johnson of Lebanon, and Steve Cheatum and his wife Patty of Phillipsburg; one daughter, Gail Lobdell and her husband Bill of Lebanon; four sisters, June Paul and her husband Alvis of Lebanon; Jerri Myers of Lebanon; Katherine Welch of the state of Washington and Rose Marie Kovac of the state of Arizona; brother-in-law, Paul Agan; sister-in-law, Betty Souza and her husband Lou; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends
Funeral services for Betty Louise Johnson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at Second Free Will Baptist Church with David Douglas and Alvis Paul officiating.
Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
