Betty Jo Owens, 86, of Buffalo, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, in Springfield.
She was born May 31, 1934, in Lee’s Summit, Mo. to Clinton Gustaf and Ruby Faye (Cox) Anderson.
On Feb. 14, 1953, she married Jess Ray Owens.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jess Owens, and one brother, Bobby Dale Anderson.
Survivors include her son, Mike and wife Debby Owens of Buffalo; her daughter, Rhae Lynne and husband Wayne Cowan of Braymer; three grandchildren, Jess and wife Krystal Kampe, Joe and wife Kellie Kampe, and Brad Cowan, and nine great-grandchildren, Lane Kampe, Kaitlynn and husband Jacob Marchand, Conner Kampe, and Shelby Kampe, also other family members and friends.
Funeral services for Betty Jo Owens will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Bro. Dusty Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Relay For Life.
