Bertie Ray Thomason, 89, of Springfield, was born April 18, 1936, in Alpena, Ark. to Bert Hayes and Della Mae (Binam) Thomason and died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary; two daughters, Suzie Pellecchia, Amy (Darren) Dahle-Melsaether, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at St. Luke Cemetery near Marshfield, under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International.
