Bertha Lue Davis Vestal, 85, of Niangua, was born Feb. 5, 1939, to Leamon and Avis (Barker) Davis and died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024. She is survived by her husband Larry; four children, Brenda Brinkley and husband Gary of Marshfield, Beverly Ledford and husband Fred of Niangua, Jerry Vestal and wife Sharon of Niangua, and Leslie Vandenberg and husband Brian of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bobbie Sue Day (Don), Judy Bertoldie, Jean Carol Hobson, and Sharon Chittim (Bill); and a sister-in-law, Wanda Mathis (Tom). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Good Spring Cemetery near Niangua. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Good Spring Cemetery and left in care of the funeral home.
