Barbara June Hedgepath, 85, of Lebanon, died Saturday, March 27, 2021, in Mercy Hospital Springfield.
She was born Aug. 27, 1935, in Nashville, Ohio to Harold and Thelma (Gilbert) Doty.
On Jan. 4, 1953, she married Dee Hedgepath in Rayville, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dee; her parents; two brothers, Larry and Kenny Doty, and one grandson, Dylan Hedgepath.
Barbara was a cook for Long Lane Schools for 22 years.
She is survived by her children, Terry Hedgepath of Pittsburg, Mo.; Nancy and husband David Daniel of Lebanon; Cheryl and husband John Dabney of Lebanon, and Karen Hedgepath of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; also other family members.
Funeral services for Barbara June Hedgepath will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, under the care and direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
