COLUMBIA — The Lebanon High School girls’ wrestling team dominated its competition en route to their second consecutive state championship at Mizzou Arena on Saturday.

It is Lebanon’s third state championship as the dynasty continued for coach Matt Neely and his squad.

The Lady ‘Jackets finished with 133 team points, besting Nixa by 42 points. Lafayette (Wildwood) finished third with 60.5 points, while Park Hill scored 60 points to earn fourth.

Lebanon senior Quincey Glendenning (42-2 overall) became the first-ever two-time state champion in school history on Saturday night, pinning Rock Summit’s Madeline Haynes (45-1 overall) in the first period of the 130-pound championship, earning her third-state medal.

Earlier in the year, Glendenning fell to the freshman standout Haynes by a score of 2-0 but got an early takedown in the first period and was able to stick Haynes 57 seconds into their second bout against each other.
