Audrey L. Hicks, 83, of Buffalo, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
She was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Muskegon, Mich. to William Jonathan Spence and Lillian Polmanteer Spence.
On Aug. 27, 1955, she married Dennis Boyd Hicks, who preceded her in death in 2003. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Connie McIntyre, and Virginia Mowery, also a nephew, Christopher Mowery.
She was a bookkeeper and a secretary. Audrey was an active member of Buffalo Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Michael of Austin, Texas; Mark of Charlotte, N.C., and Charles of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan and Denise, Jacob and Kristine, Cortney Melissa and Jacob and Merina A. Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Ethan Boyd Hicks, Layla Elizabeth Hicks, Gwendolyn Peacock, and Jesselle Arenstein; also nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in the New Hope Cemetery in Louisburg, Missouri with Lonnie Glor officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Cantlon Otterness Funeral Home in Buffalo, MO. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
