Arthur “Art’’ James Helms, 87, of Crocker, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at his home.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Helms of the home; six children, Greg Helms (Terri) of Hot Springs, Ark.; Andy Helms (Deatte) of Crocker; Mark Helms (Toni) of Liberty Lake, Wash.; Artina Vincent (David) of Pell City, Ala.; Valerie Helms of St. Robert, and Michelle Gaddie (Michael) of Lake Forest, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Helms (Audrey) of Downey, Calif.; two sisters, Veda Holyfield of Princeton, La. and Mary Ann Galvin (Ken) of Linn; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Arthur “Art’’ James Helms will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, in the First Baptist Church of Crocker. Burial will be in Crocker Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory/ST. Robert and 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Crocker.
