ARLEEN MARIE NAGLICH

Arleen Marie Naglich, 92, of Lebanon, died Friday morning, Feb. 26, 2021, in Osage Beach Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

She was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Granite City, Ill. to Earl and Pearl Carron Liesmann.

On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Mike C. Naglich, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Martha Swillum.

Arleen was born and raised in Granite City, Ill. and graduated from high school there. After she and Mike were married, they made their home in the Granite City area and lovingly raised their children. Through the years, Arleen was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. In 1977, Arleen and Mike moved to Lebanon and made their home.

She was raised in the Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include her husband Mike Naglich of the home in Lebanon; three sons, Mark Naglich of the state of California; Michael Naglich and his wife Joanne of Efland, N.C., and David Naglich and his wife Nancy of St. Louis; one daughter, Christine Catney and her husband Michael, of Iowa City, Iowa; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Polson of Collinsville, Ill.

A private Funeral Mass for Arleen Marie Naglich will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon with Father David Miller officiating. A public service will be held at a later date, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
