Face-to-face learning will return at area school districts when the new school years begins. Lebanon R-3, Laclede County R-1 (Conway) and Laclede County C-5 (Joel E. Barber) all plan to resume face-to-face, in-person learning for students. The Lebanon R-3 School District announced Thursday it plans to return to “full in-person learning” when classes open for the first day of school Aug. 24. “Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. This plan is based on best practices from schools throughout the state, feedback from staff and parents and guidance from our health department and DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education),” the Lebanon R-3 School announcement said. “Our goal is for kids to return to school and to keep students learning with us in the safest learning environment we can provide.”
