ANNA FLETCHER

Anna Fletcher, 85, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 4, 2021, in Lebanon.

She was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Wagenfeld/Alt Werder, East Prussia to Karl and Anna Serra Radek.

On Jan. 27, 1960, she married Charles Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Anna Radek; her maternal grandparents, Michael and Eva (Pivek) Serra; her twin brother, Wilhelm; three sisters, Elfrieda, Emmy and Minna; and one half brother, Kurt Serra.

Anna became a naturalized U.S. citizen on Oct. 22, 1993, which she was very proud of. She and Charles owned and operated Fletcher’s Farm and Garden for many years, selling produce to many people in the community. Anna also worked at H.D. Lee Company for many years. Her most treasured memories were those spent with her family. She loved them dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Fletcher; four children, Chuck Fletcher and his wife Cheryl of Independence, Mo.; Stuart Radek Fletcher and his wife Karen of Canton, Texas; Steven Kermit Fletcher and Terri of Bloomington, Ill. and Anya Sherwood and her husband John of Peoria, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Corinne, Jacob and Andreu Fletcher, Ashley Romo, Kayla Simons, Kendra Dempsey and Sam Sherwood; four great-grandchildren, Hadley Fletcher, Zeke, Jack and Wes Simons; several nieces and nephews in Germany; other relatives and many friends

A memorial service for Anna Fletcher will be held at a later date. Her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no scheduled visitation.
