ANGELA GAIL “ANGIE’’ SHIVERS

Angela Gail “Angie’’ Shivers, 55, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, in Lebanon.

She was born June 28, 1965, in Lebanon, Mo. to Orvil Massey Jr. and Nancy Burgess Thompson.

On Dec. 19, 1999, she married Eldon Shivers, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2017. She was also preceded in death by one great-niece, Jamie Leanne Sadler.

Angie was a 1983 graduate of Lebanon High School. She worked as a waitress at Shoney’s and Applebee’s for several years and most recently was a bus driver for Lebanon School System. She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting the needs of her family first.

She was a longtime, active and faithful member of Family Church, where she also served on the prayer team.

Survivors include one daughter, Victoria Shivers of Lebanon; her mother, Nancy Thompson of Lebanon; one sister, Ellen Sadler and her husband Herbert of Sleeper; one brother, Randy Massey Jr. of Goodman, Mo.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Laura Shivers of Springfield; aunts and uncles, Virginia and David Koonce, Rosie Hillhouse, Juanita and Jesse Clark and Sherry and Butch Bowman; other relatives; church family; and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service for Angela Gail “Angie’’ Shivers will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Family Church. There is no scheduled burial. At her request, her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time at 10:30.
