Ameela J. Bagby, 5, of Waynesville, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in her home.

She is survived by her father, Phillip Bagby of Dixon; her mother, Shamyra Buford of Waynesville; her sisters, Mykirah Bagby, Seymouri Bagby, Zanda Bagby and Zora Bagby; twin sister, Amiya Bagby; her brother, Kierre Bagby; paternal grandparents, Michael and Lillian Bagby of Dixon; maternal grandparents, Willie and Patricia Buford of Mobile, Ala.; paternal great-grandparents, Emmanuel and Lillian Hamilton of Mobile, Ala.; her nephew, Tyler Buford of Waynesville; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, March 17, 2023, in the Westside Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday at Westside Baptist Church.
